Often referred to as the jewel in the Cyclades crown, Oia stands on the cliffside with its white buildings and azure rooftops. Renowned for its picturesque charm, Oia offers many activities, from enchanting evening catamaran cruises and wine-tasting experiences to legendary sunsets, making it a paradise for photographers and romantics.
Like most popular tourist destinations, the range of accommodations in Santorini includes pricey luxury hotels, cave suites, and budget-friendly B&Bs. You pay for the view and proximity to the Caldera, a large volcanic crater that measures about 12 by 7 km. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, the Caldera is mesmerizingly beautiful. You should consider adding it if it isn’t already on your bucket list.
