Dr. Deji gets it right!

This is an impromptu blog post.

Over the past two weeks, there have been many speculations on who will win Wimbledon.  While tennis pundits debated between Djokovic and Nadal, Deji, a squash player friend, predicted that Murray would start off well, choke, and lose in four to Federer in the finals. I hate to admit it, but turns out he was right!

Now that Federer has his seventeenth grand slam title, what’s next, the Olympics?

You may be wondering why I bothered to write about this. Deji is one of the earliest supporters of my blog and a potential contributor. When not playing squash, Deji runs a successful veterinary practice in Toronto and is an avid photography buff. Check out Deji’s new Facebook page, which he is in the process of building up.

Preparing for a tirade of comments on squash supremacy over tennis…

  1. Now come on Dax, Murray didn’t exactly choke. He threw everything he had at Federer, but the champ was just too good. In fact, I think Federer just got better as the match progressed rather than Murray folding (although his first serve did become less consistent). It seems the only choking we saw from Murray was when he gave his runner-up speech at the end of the match – poor guy!

Deji – here’s a translation of the above – woof! Woof! Grrr! Arf!
