The Vasa Museum houses the seventeenth-century 64-gun warship Vasa, which sank on its maiden voyage in 1628 and was salvaged 333 years later.

A scaled model of the Vasa ship built by model builders at the National Maritime Museum in Stockholm gives visitors an idea of how the ship might have looked as she sailed out in 1628.
