LaGuardia is the closest NYC airport to Midtown Manhattan. It is no longer the grungy airport it used to be.

Midtown Manhattan, the area loosely bound by Central Park on the north and  Union Square on the south, is home to many of NYC's iconic attractions.

Times Square, one of the world’s most visited tourist attractions, is in Midtown Manhattan. It is very touristy but is part of the NYC experience.

St. Patrick's Cathedral, the seat of the Archbishop of New York, is in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood.

Rockerfeller Center is a designated landmark that houses businesses, television studios, restaurants, shopping, and artworks.

A bronze statue of Atlas stands at the  Rockefeller Center.

The rink attracts locals and tourists alike. The complex's extensive art collections and the annual lighting of its Christmas tree are big draws.

The store is a 5th Avenue landmark and is located accross from the  Rockerfeller Center.

The Saks Fifth Avenue Flagship Store

The Louis Vuitton store in Midtown Manhattan sports designer Yayoi Kusama's  fabulous polka dots.

It is not difficult to guess how the Flatiron building got its name. It is located at Fifth Avenue, Broadway, and East 22nd Street.

The Fuller Building

The art deco style 40-story Midtown Manhattan building at 57th Street and Madison Avenue was constructed by the same folks who built the Flat Iron Building.

Centrally located in Midtown Manhattan, the Grand Central Terminal is unlike any railway stations that you are likely to encounter.

Stop by for a drink at The Campbell, an upscale bar attached to the Grand Central. Previously, it has been a New York Financier's office, a studio, and a jail. 

HQ of The UN

Built in 1951, the official headquarters of the United Nations is in Midtown Manhattan.

Diners are mostly affordable and are spread accross Midtown Manhattan. John's Coffee Shop is on 2nd and 42nd.

Midtown is perhaps best known for office towers and tourists but it’s also home to some of the city’s best restaurants.
