Land's End Lookout

Lands End Lookout is one of the best scenic viewpoint in SF. The well-maintained hiking trails with views of  the Pacific Ocean are its main attraction.

Just three miles northwest of the Golden Gate Bridge, Rodeo Beach is  bounded by cliffs and a lagoon and is great for hikes, family pinics, and hanging out.

Rodeo Beach attractions include the Bird Island, Trails, and an old army installation, Fort Cronkhite, that now supports park activities.

Devil's Slide

The coastal promontory on the San Mateo County coast lies 20 Km outside downtown San Francisco and gets its name from the accident-prone rocky edges and landslides. 

Devil's Slide Trail 

The 4.5 Km multi-use trail overlooks the Pacific Ocean and is a popular destination for hikiing, bicycling, birding, and family outings. 

Notorious for rock slides and road collapses, the Devil's Slide was once a section of the scenic State Route Highway 1. 

Tom Lantos Tunnels at Devil's Slide now provide safe passage for commuters who were once exposed to closures and shutdowns.

Gray Whale Cove

Half Moon Bay has one of the largest beach areas in the San Francisco Bay Area. Many of them offer incredible blufftop views and walking trails.

Pillar Point Harbor

The colourful fishing boats and waterfront seafood eateries are a great draws. Mavericks, the surfing location near Pillar Point in Hal Moon Bay is legendary.

The year-round temperate climate and the many hills and beaches make it a great destination for outdoor activities.
