Plan to visit both cities when you are in Scotland

Glasgow is around 50 miles west of Edinburgh

The train ride from Edinburgh to Glasgow was short, just over an hour.

The Central Station is the major rail terminal in Glasgow.

While you wait for your train, you can pop into the Champagne Central for a refreshment 

The Grand Central Hotel forms the front of the Central Station 

My hotel was close to many of the city's attractions.

Hop-on hop-off double-decker buses are a great way to see the city.

You'd think that you would find bargains on scotch whisky in Scotland. Surprisingly, you don't.

Stirling Castle is under an hour away from Glasgow. The town, its houses, and cemeteries are scenic.
